Zeppelin Power Systems presents its solutions for inland waterway vessels

At the fair Shipping-Logistics Technics from September 27 - 29 in Kalkar (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) Zeppelin Power Systems presents besides its new engine portfolio their service center at the Duisburg port. 

As exhibit a Cat C32 marine engine is will be displayed, which is one of Caterpillar´s most sold engines worldwide. 

"The Cat C32 is already used on more than one hundred barges and covers a power range from 0.5 to 1 MW," says Andreas Schmuck, Head of Sales High Speed ​​Engines, IWW, Cruise and Yacht at Zeppelin Power Systems.

In addition to low-emission and high performance marine engines, the company also offers a unique service network throughout Europe.

At the trade show the experts from Zeppelin Power Systems also present their service center at Duisburg. 

There, customers are being offered three berths with shore power connection and a modern workshop with crane and a spare parts warehouse.

"The expansion of the Duisburg location was necessary as a result of the increased number of customers and orders in recent years. Fully equipped, the new Duisburg facility completes our other locations in Germany and Austria," says Christoph Greifeneder, Service Sales Manager at Zeppelin Power Systems. "At our location directly at the Duisburg port we are very accessible for our customers. On their route, they can now stop by for Cat and MaK engines services or to get spare parts through our direct sale. During the repair time the ships are also liberated of demurrage."
