GSE separator

Characteristics

  • Separation of the finest dust particles from pellets
  • Secure removal of long streamers
  • High degree of separation due to particle acceleration and
and 180° deflection of air stream
  • Consistent separation efficiency throughout the entire duration of operation
  • Gravimetric feeding is also possible
  • Direct feeding without a transfer hopper is possible by means of
    dense phase conveying
  • Higher loading rate than other separator types to date
  • Reduced loss of pressure thanks to optimized design
  • Individual customization to suit product and throughput
  • Straightforward output of cleaned material being conveyed
    via downstream rotary feeder

Benefits

  • Maintenance-free due to absence of rotating or
    wearing parts
  • Effective operation with high separation efficiency
  • Direct feeding via pneumatic conveyor system
  • Testimonials from customers all over the world
  • Integrated multiple screening

Applications

  • Separator for direct integration into pneumatic
conveyor systems handling up to 120 metric tons per hour
  • Separator can also be used in circuit systems
  • High separation efficiency
  • Removal of even long streamers
  • Used primarily for polymers

Operating principle

The pellets to be cleaned are accelerated inside the separator. Some of the kinetic energy of the conveyor is harnessed in this process,
and the pellets are subjected to a counter-current of gas
; the result is a high relative velocity between the pellets and the counter-current,
which causes the finest dust particles as well as streamers and
angel hairs to be effectively and easily separated from the accepted product. This allows optimal separation efficiency to be
achieved.
