The Dutch supermarket group Hoogvliet, which was awarded Production of the Year 2016 by Backtechnik Europe magazine,produces a range of freshly baked goods several times a day.

When Leen Hoogvliet founded the supermarket chain in 1968, his father was already the proud owner of several grocery stores. Nonetheless, his son quickly grew his own company based in Zoeterwoude, and turned it into a byword for innovative ideas.
