Despite difficult market environment: Zeppelin donated over 600,000 euros in 2024

27. June 2025 | Garching near Munich

Grafen move your heart: As a foundation owned company, Zeppelin is deeply committed to social responsibility. This commitment is particularly put to the test in economically challenging times. One such year was the 2024 financial year, which was characterized by unfavorable market developments, margin and cost pressure, and special factors. Despite this, Zeppelin increased its payments to the Zeppelin Foundation and donated 642,000 euros.

The Zeppelin Group transfers a portion of its annual profits to the Zeppelin Foundation, administered by the city of Friedrichshafen. For the 2024 financial year, this amounts to around 30 million euros. These financial resources are used exclusively for charitable and social purposes.

Additionally, Zeppelin has donated to organizations in the fields of education, culture, science, social affairs, and sports for many years. The company has a particular focus on supporting Zeppelin University (ZU) in Friedrichshafen, the Zeppelin Youth Foundation JUST!, and Home from Home, a non-profit organization that works to improve the future of orphans, as well as children infected with HIV and rejected by their communities, in the townships near Cape Town. Home from Home was recently presented with an additional 136,800 euros in support at bauma 2025.

Last year, the Technische Hilfswerk (THW) München-Land branch received a special donation in honor of its 50th anniversary. The THW's voluntary work, including emergency response and infrastructure projects, deserves special recognition. To show their appreciation, Zeppelin's Munich branch gifted the THW with a brand new Cat 308ECR short-tail excavator.
