Our understanding of sustainability
Sustainability is viewed holistically at Zeppelin, and environmental, economic, and social aspects are considered to be of equal importance and value.
Environment
Our ambition is to make an active and authentic contribution to climate and environmental protection. We are proactively tackling the current challenges of our time and are developing environmentally friendly as well as technically and financially feasible solutions. This will enable us to increase our positive impact on the climate and the environment, while at the same time placing great importance on the economical, responsible use of our resources. Among other things, we have set ourselves the goal of becoming a CO2 neutral company by 2030.
Economy
For Zeppelin, economic sustainability is a basic requirement for the long-term safeguarding of economic success and expansion of our competitiveness. Sustainability is firmly anchored in our corporate strategy and corporate values.
Society
Zeppelin assumes social responsibility in the spirit of sustainable action. In this way, we maintain and further expand our attractiveness as an employer. This is essential to ensure a high level of qualification and motivation among our employees while also maintaining and improving our employee retention and development.

Sustainability and UN Global Compact
As a foundation-owned company, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of the corporate strategy and is in line with the infinity principle and the Group's understanding of values. With the fourth sustainability report, which is also available digitally for the first time, Zeppelin provides detailed information about its CSR strategy and developments since the last reporting in 2022. Despite all imponderables, the Group continued to implement its measures to achieve its sustainability goals last year. The reporting period corresponds to the calendar year.

Policy statement on compliance with human and environmental rights

Respect for human rights, environmental rights and the responsible treatment of our environment is a fundamental element of our company governance. Our aim is to ensure that these rights are observed in all our Group entities and also respected by our partners and suppliers.
We have therefore been taking measures throughout the Group for many years with the aim of identifying, preventing and minimizing human rights-related risks in our supply chains. Below you will find our policy statement on respecting human and environmental rights.
Complaints procedure
Complaints and information on human rights or environmental obligations can be submitted anonymously at any time via the Group-wide online reporting system, the Zeppelin Trust Line, electronically by e-mail to lksg@zeppelin.com or by post to Zeppelin GmbH, Group General Counsel, Graf-Zeppelin-Platz 1, 85748 Garching near Munich, Germany.

DIN ISO 9001
Our market success is closely linked to the quality of our products and services. To ensure high-quality services and products as well as to meet the requirements and needs of our customers, we have implemented an integrated management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 in all German companies, which underlines our special quality awareness for internal and external purposes.

DIN ISO 45001
All of us at Zeppelin strive for a safe and healthy working environment in our company. Our goal is to completely avoid any kind of work accidents as well as work-related illness (Vision Zero). With the help of our occupational health and safety management system according to ISO 45001, we control our orientation and the achievement of our goals and furthermore monitor our progress and development.

DIN ISO 50001
The Zeppelin Group commits to a climate, environment and health-friendly energy policy. As part of our energy management system in accordance with ISO 50001, which is checked annually by our certification body GUTcert, we work consistently on improving our energetic performance, identifying energy saving measures and using highly efficient technologies. In this way we make an active contribution to protect the environment and to conserve the resources of our earth.

DIN ISO 14001
To protect our environment, to prevent environmental pollution and to strengthen our market position, Zeppelin GmbH is committed to continuously improving our energy and environmental performance. We emphasize our responsible use of our resources by reducing the environmental impact of our activities, products, industrial and commercial goods to the minimum and by conserving resources. The certification of our environmental management system according to ISO 14001, which is checked annually by our certification company, confirms our commitment in the environmental field.
